how to keep a food journal
Ya take a piece of paper and tape it to your cupboards, your pantry, or your fridge, whichever place is closest to where you get your food and where you can access easily. Then you just write down your info that you wanna keep up on the paper as you get your food and drinks. And I keep the pen I use in the cupboard behind the door where I’ve got the paper. I don’t know how many steno books I’ve lost in the couch or had chewed up by my daughter, and with this way I’ll always know where to find it.
Of course this is a bit problematic if you’re not at home for most of the day. For that I’d recommend taking a bit of extra time out and planning your entire day’s food intake before you go thru it, and then just stick to it as best you can. Obviously this’d require a good amount of discipline, but yeah.
